Marketing Associate

Position Summary

Our Client in the insurance industry is looking for a talented individual to join their marketing team. Working directly with the Senior Marketing specialist, you will collaborate on projects to maintain and grow the brand within various channels of communication.

The idea candidate will be an enthusiastic creative thinker having had prior education or experience in the marketing field.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in digital media, video editing or motion design (or equivalent)
• Media and/or journalism/Marketing experience is considered a strong asset.
• Well versed with all social media platforms and their unique requirements.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• You enjoy collaboration.
• Education in Media Studies, Marketing or Communications
• If no education in field – 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Hybrid – with some on site

Responsibilities

• Creates engaging and relevant content for the organization's social media platforms under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager.
• Assists in planning and drafting of posts for 3-4 distinct channels to maintain a consistent online presence for our brands.
• Monitors social media channels for comments, questions, and engagement.
• Update website event calendars.
• Assist with Social media engagement and interaction.
• Performs other duties, responsibilities and functions as assigned.
• Using a mix of video, stills and motion graphics to create on-brand content, including profiles, interviews.
• Collaborating with the Marketing team to create video-first storytelling that fits with our brand, audiences, and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X).
