Marketing Coordinator

What You’ll Do;

As our Marketing Coordinator with Team Town Sports (TTS), your role will significantly impact the coordination and support of our marketing strategies and brand vision, driving sales at our retail stores and e-commerce online.

Team Town Sports is Sporting Life Group's (SLG) newest banner, bringing top-quality team sports equipment across the country. Since our launch in 2023, we have seen rapid growth, serving our customers' needs at one of our four store locations or our E-commerce site.

To support this growth, we have created this new role in our team to ensure the successful execution of all consumer communication channels and the day-to-day production of marketing initiatives while acting as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our marketing and promotional strategy aligns with brand and legal standards.

In this role, you will be an integral team member supporting the Marketing Manager and building strong relationships with our merchandising, creative, operations, e-commerce, and wider SLG marketing teams.

• Supporting in seasonal and promotional planning, driving sales and traffic by collaborating.
• Cross-functionally coordinate our marketing and digital campaigns, including advertising (print, digital, direct mail, social media, influencer/affiliate, e-mail), promotions, contests and other marketing initiatives.
• Building and fostering strong relationships with merchandising, operations, e-commerce, design, digital, and social media to ensure alignment of priorities.
• Facilitating and coordinating creative briefs for all campaigns, consistently ensuring strong brand standards & identity by partnering with the channel leads.
• Developing and maintaining our image library for the marketing team to reference for ongoing collateral needs.
• Partner with our Digital Center of Excellence Team and Marketing Manager to support all online communication, messaging, and content in paid digital channels.
• Design and develop project workbacks according to the marketing calendar, working cross-functionally to ensure materials are developed on time and to budget, involving the appropriate resources.
• Collaborating with the marketing manager to routinely analyzes customer data to provide insights on your findings to improve our marketing programs and consistently target our ideal market.

What You’ll Bring;

• Experience in marketing or communications, a background/interest in the sports industry, and knowledge and understanding of team sports.
• Degree or diploma, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
• Direct experience with marketing-related software tools, social media, CRM, and MS Office Suite would be an asset.
• Exposure to working with creative and production resources for digital and print media.
• Knowledge of brand identity, advertising and marketing strategy.
• Ability to absorb new ideas, technology and concepts quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
