The Marketing Coordinator will serve as the Marketing Manager’s right hand and play a key role in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring content across a range of digital channels (such as social, web & e-newsletters). With a focus on balancing storytelling and sales, this individual will work to ensure our digital presence supports our business offerings and goals, with effective messaging and community building. They will play a key role in helping to shape the farms' evolving digital strategy and online image.
The role will work across various projects for our retail, events, kitchen and butcher shop departments and therefore needs to be a strong communicator and enjoy working within a team environment. We are a small team and love to work together and build off of each other’s ideas!
This is an in-person position and pay rates will vary depending on education and work experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Understand and “get” the brand of the farm.
- Create daily creative content (photo and video) that generates engagement and grows social following and community.
- Help assist to create & implement a digital strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google & TikTok.
- Maintain & create content for our website, under the guidance of the marketing manager.
- Work with retail & kitchen teams to update weekly specials and features on the website.
- Update event information on Website, Social Accounts, and Google.
- Brainstorm and coordinate ways to target key areas to increase traffic to physical location.
- Provide creative support to the events team for event planning, set up, signage, and event print items.
- Communicate & coordinate with the chef & kitchen team for ‘media days’ covering items like seasonal features, event menus, and retail features.
- Create and deploy weekly newsletters using Mailchimp.
- Confident using Canva to create graphics using brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with different departments and keep the project management & marketing calendar up to date.

What You Need To Succeed:
- Post-secondary education preferably in Marketing or Communications.
- Minimum 2 years work related experience.
- Knowledge of brand management & digital media.
