What you will do …
You will play a crucial role in creating, supporting and executing marketing and sales initiatives to enhance the brand's visibility and drive business growth. Your responsibilities will be a combination of marketing planning and execution, web design work, digital ad campaign creation and management, WLD photo/video asset management and more.
Who you will work with …
Direct report to: Director, Sales and Marketing
Working relationships with: Sales, Marketing, Tasting Room, Production, and Events teams
Marketing and Sales team support:
- Execute Marketing and Sales strategies, plans and activations developed by the Sales and Marketing team
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of marketing and sales materials including graphics, POS, sell sheets, price guides, promotional materials, etc.
- WLD e-Newsletter support
- Assist in coordinating and executing press releases, product launches, and media outreach
- Conduct market research to stay informed about emerging technology, industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, consumers, media outlets, bloggers, and influencers
Social media/digital and Community connection:
- Manage and grow the brand's presence on social media platforms and in the community.
- Create and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Develop engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, digital ads, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality visual and written content.
- Create and execute digital campaigns and manage tracking analytics to inform plan.
- Maintain and update our website with images and copy.
- Review digital data across website, Google, and social platforms to recommend improvements.

- Proficient in using various technologies, tools and platforms.
Experience:
- 3+ years experience in the marketing space; ideally in the spirits or beverage industry.
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications or equivalent is an asset.
- Highly proficient in graphic design and visual communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to draft, proofread and edit written materials.
- Experience in a professional setting and strong working knowledge with social media platforms and scheduling/planning tools.
- Experience in e-commerce, digital ad content creation/execution, ad spend budget management and conversion tracking.
- Excellent computer skills: G-Suite, Adobe CC, Canva, Klaviyo, Shopify are among the tools we use.
- Photography and videography editing skills are an asset.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
The fine print…
- Obtain and maintain a valid AGLC Proserve certification
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Able to work some evenings and weekends to capture content and connect with the community as needed
- 40 hrs/week minimum of work is expected to fulfill the duties of the job
