Job Description
- Support the sales & marketing team as we strive to engage healthcare practitioners and enhance their understanding of Gilead’s newly approved and innovative cancer therapy
- Primary therapeutic focus will be on the approved indication in metastatic triple negative breast cancer
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to implement a plan of action by executing tactics, communicating progress and tracking key performance indicators
- Develop a strong understanding of our strategic goals in order to communicate forward looking plans and gain alignment with smaller, internal audiences
- Represent the commercial team in cross-functional team meetings and support team members deliver outstanding results with their projects
- Prepare market analysis and other competitive research materials
- In partnership with other internal stakeholders, support Customer Relationship Management
- Support development of marketing, training and promotional material (which may include working closely with our advertising Agency of Record)
- Support the build out of business processes and change management within a diverse team
- Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks such as file retention and sharing, proof-reading documents, and collating slide decks.
- Must have completed at least one year of College or University degree program with a preferred focus on business, marketing or biological sciences
- Must be enrolled in the Fall semester 2024 at an accredited University/ post-secondary educational institution after the completion of the internship.
- Must have the ability to complete 14-15 consecutive week internship between May and August
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Must be able to secure proper work authorization without Gilead sponsorship
- Must be able to commute to the office on core collaboration days.
- Previous work or internship experience is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (French/English) an asset
- Excellent project management ability and organizational skills, including the management of multiple priorities and resources
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is required
- Must be willing to comply with all regulatory/compliance policies
