Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Materials and Safety Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our material handling procedures, ensuring product quality, and promoting safety protocols. You will work closely with various departments to implement best practices and maintain a culture of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Move raw materials from storage areas to equipment for processing. Move Work In Progress materials and finished goods to storage areas once processed.

Quality Control:Implement quality control procedures and inspection protocols.
Conduct regular quality audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Work with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Safety: Investigate and document incidents, near-misses, and hazards, and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with local and federal safety regulations. Enforce safety procedures.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials, quality inspections, and Safety incidents.
Generate reports on material usage, quality metrics, and Safety performance.

Requirements:

• 1+ years experience in forklift operating experience
• 1+ experience in materials management, quality control, and Safety.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in safety management or quality control is a plus.
