POSITION : Unscheduled Part Time Materials Management Assistant (UNFOR Service)
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 07:00 TO 15:00 H OR 11:00 TO 19:00 H. Weekends and Holiday 08:00 TO 16:00 H
JOB SUMMARY :
Duties including but not limited to:
- Counting, Picking and Delivering Orders
- Ensuring general organization and tidiness of warehouse and PAR locations
- Delivery of direct orders including transportation of medical gases
- MDRD Runs of clean and soiled instruments and equipment
- Replenishment of Crash carts
- Assisting in putting away stock as delivered
- Cycle Counting
- Ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participating in Physical Year End Inventory
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in Hospital computer applications – Mobile & Supply Chain
- Warehouse Experience Preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work Independently and prioritize work
- Distribution of supplies
- Good attendance record
