Trans East Trailers Ltd., a leading Sales, Rental, Service, and Parts outlet for commercial heavy-duty trailers, is currently seeking a motivated and organized professional to fill the role of Office Administrator at our newly built location in Moncton, NB. As the Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in office organization, serving as the initial point of contact for our valued customers and partners, and other administrative duties.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Interaction:** Act as the first point of contact for customers and partners, providing excellent customer service and representing the professional image of Trans East Trailers Ltd.
2. **Basic Accounting:** Utilize basic accounting skills to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
3. **Office Suite Proficiency:** Demonstrate proficiency in office suite applications, including Excel, to efficiently handle data entry, create reports, and assist with various administrative tasks.
4. **Collections:** Aid in the collections processes, ensuring outstanding payments are tracked, communicated, and collected in a timely manner.
5. **Deposits:** Handle financial deposits accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. **Liaison with Service New Brunswick:** Act as a liaison with Service New Brunswick, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining effective communication channels.
7. **General Administrative Tasks:** Assist with general administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the office. Includes reception duties such as answering phones, directing customers, handling basic inquiries, sorting mail, etc.
8. **Other tasks as required
**Qualifications:**
1. Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role.
2. Basic accounting experience and familiarity with financial processes.
3. Proficient in office suite applications.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Motivated and detail-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor.
7. Ability to work full-time in person at our Moncton location.
