Job Type: Administrator/Office assistant
We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our small team to be a office assistant. Our candidate should possess, communication, organization, and office skills. They must be able to work independently and be flexible with hours, responsibilities, and duties.
Knowing French will be an added asset.
Job Summary
· Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
· Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
· Carry out administrative activities of establishment
· Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
· Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
· Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
· Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
· Train staff
· Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
· Resolve conflict situations
· Oversee payroll administration
· Plan and control budget and expenditures and other administrative task as per the office requirement
Proficient in English

Education
· College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
· or equivalent experience
Experience
1 to less than 7 months
Asset languages
· Hindi
· Panjabi
· Gujarati
Proficiency in French language will be an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
