Fort Garry Fire Trucks' Rubber Division is looking to hire a full-time Office Clerk. If you have an understanding of accounting basics, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, this may be the role for you.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Answering and responding to phone and email inquiries
- Entering job orders
- Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders / receiving slips.
- Coding and entering sales expenses.
- Processing customer payments
- Trimming small parts, counting and packaging components for job orders
- Shipping and receiving
- General office duties
Applicant Requirements
- Proficient computer skills using Outlook, Excel, Word
- Experience using a computerized accounting program.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent spoken and written English and good communication skills
- Superior organization skills
- Reliable transportation: public transit is not available at our location
Assets
- Prior experience in an accounts payable or accounting position
- Ability to read a tape measure.
