Operations Coordinator

Road to Rail Construction Group Inc. is actively seeking an Operations Coordinator/ Dispatcher.

We are seeking a self motivated Operations coordinator to join our team. The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for day to day operations of our trucking and construction divisions lining up and coordinating operators, labourers, equipment and trucking for in house jobs and 3rd party work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating accurate and specific job details with the dispatch coordinator to ensure accurate billing. This position will be located in Camrose Alberta, Shift work and accommodations can be negotiated.

Key Responsibilities:

-Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the organization
- Relay accurate information for billing and tasks completed in day to dispatch coordinator
- Answer phone calls taking work orders and managing the incoming projects
- Hiring operators, labourers, professional drivers and 3rd party contractors when necessary
- Utilize computerized systems and software to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
- Handle inquiries and provide information to clients, customers, and employees
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Comfortable working with computerized systems and software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Industry knowledge and connections ability to generate trucking work when necessary
- Strong Understanding of Civil and Oilfield Construction and equipment and logisitics used onsite.
-Strong understanding of heavy haul trucking, load securment, provincial and federal legislations.

Preferred Skills

-Trucking background is an asset
- Active Class 1 or 3 license is an asset
- Construction background is an asset
- Sales experience is an asset
- Strong understanding of Rail Construction

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
