Operations Manager - Calgary
The Operations Manager - Calgary is primarily responsible for organizing and overseeing the daily operations of Windley Ely’s Calgary Office. Responsible to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long term success.
Employment Responsibilities
- Liaise with executives to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
- Oversee the Windley Ely Calgary office
- WCB review, Cost Relief, Account Management
- Monitor the day to day running of the business to ensure progress
- Oversee the Nurse Triage program
- Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback.
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage relationships/agreements with clients
- Developing and implementing guidelines of employee evaluations, recruitment and promotion
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business or Masters degree in a relevant discipline
- Workers’ Compensation experience an asset
- Experience in a senior management position
- Knowledge of operational management
- Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources and personnel management
- Experience with corporate governance
- Ability to understand new issues and make decisions in a timely manner
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
- Ability to work under pressure and delegate effectively.
- The ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
- Practice of a high level of confidential
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and employees.
- Organization and prioritization skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
Working Schedule:
- 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
- Start date May 2024
