Outbound Call Centre Agent

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Outbound Call Centre Agents, for our client in Toronto, ON. This role is an outbound customer service position where you will connect with shareholders regarding unknown assets through the reunification process. You will be responsible for engaging customers by making Outbound Calls to locate the lost shareholder and aid them in understanding the process to recover assets they may not know they have.

• Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

• Location: Toronto, ON

• Shift: WFH – 2nd week of training on site in Toronto | 9:00am – 5:00pm ET

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 1-year contract

Qualifications:

• 1 year call center experience

• 6 months to 1 year experience with Outbound Calls

• Banking, Finance or Collection industry experience preferred

• Training and/or knowledge of PC applications (Word & Excel)

• Word processing, spreadsheets, Internet, e-mail, and database software knowledge.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Responsibilities:

• Initiates outbound phone calls to validate leads

• Some Inbound calls

• Build relationships with institutional account holders

• Proactively conducts analysis and research on shareholder registration information to source viable leads to locate lost shareholders, or their beneficiaries, relatives, or heirs

• Provide high level assistance in the stock transfer process by offering advice and direction on legal requirements for participation and directions to available support resources

• Effectively and professionally resolve customer complaints

• Keep up to date on Client/Program specifics, business strategy changes, and legal updates
