LIV North, www.livnorth.com, a national provider of professional consulting and management services in fitness and wellness, is recruiting a part-time/casual Overnight Facility Operator at a recreation and fitness centre in Alliston, Ontario.
The Overnight Facility Operator is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the facility and its amenities. This includes the preparation and maintenance of various recreational and fitness facilities (i.e., fitness studios, arena/ice rink, ball diamond, volleyball courts, and soccer field), as well as, the completion of all minor housekeeping and repairs. The Overnight Facility Operator is expected to monitor all maintenance schedules, and actively contribute to all Health and Safety activities and audits.
Applicants who meet the following criteria and can demonstrate their skill and ability in the following areas should apply:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in facility operations/management
- Experience with large machinery (Zamboni, tractors, riding lawnmowers) REQUIRED
- Valid Basic Arena Refrigeration Certification an asset
- A proven track record ensuring Health and Safety standards are consistently enforced and met
- Strong responsiveness, flexibility, and initiative
- Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Reliable access to personal vehicle
This position requires candidates to be available to work shifts scheduled between 9pm-7am Monday – Friday.

Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Alliston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- facility maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- arena/ice maintenance: 1 year (required)
- Zamboni/Olympia operation: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Basic Arena Refrigeration Certification (preferred)
