Part-Time Salon Receptionist (Seasonal Position)

Note: This is a Seasonal Position for the spring/summer months (April-September), with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

As we gear up for the busy summer season, we are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Salon Receptionist.

Position Overview: As a Part-Time Salon Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door. Your responsibilities will include greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a tidy reception area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the beauty industry and a knack for providing outstanding customer service. This position is from May-September.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and emails, and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously
• Schedule appointments and manage the salon's booking system efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Assist stylists and technicians with client needs as required
• Handle client payments and process transactions accurately
• Uphold the salon's standards of customer service and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience in customer service, reception, or a related field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer skills, including knowledge of booking software and basic office applications
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour
