SalaryScruples Pickering is looking for a Salon Receptionist to join our team!
The Salon Receptionist will effectively coordinate the day-to-day operations of the salon, ensuring overall that the salon runs smoothly.
Primary Functions
- Promptly answer phones and take detailed messages
- Book appointments efficiently and accurately
- Greet clients upon entering the salon and look after them immediately
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically, discreetly, and tactfully
- Accurately enter client information into database
- Cash out clients
- Monitor internal inventory and advise appropriate individuals when products are needed
- Keep front desk neat and uncluttered, well supplied with business cards, gratuity, envelopes, and service menus
- Help keep the salon clean and organized
Key Relationships
- Report to the salon manager.
- Act as a liaison between management, staff, and clientele.
Key Performance Measures
- Ability to increase client retention by possessing excellent customer service skills.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate bookings, organized, and enthusiastic.
- The ability to articulate themselves effectively with management, staff, and clients.
- Ability to increase product sales by effectively merchandising and using assertive sales techniques.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $16.65 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
