Are you the first person people turn to for a warm welcome and an exceptional customer experience? LA Blowouts is looking for a charismatic Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the face of our salon, you'll embody a vibrant personality, delivering high quality customer service. Your responsibilities will include greeting and assisting clients, showcasing in-depth knowledge of our product line, handling any client needs and mastering the art of selling products, memberships, and salon services both in person, online, and over the phone.

Job Purpose:

As the Front Desk Receptionist at LA Blowouts, your primary purpose is to create a positive and welcoming environment for clients. Ability to meet our clients’ needs. You will contribute to the salon's success by providing exceptional customer service, promoting our product line, and managing various front desk responsibilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet clients with an upbeat personality and provide 1000% amazing customer service.
• Promote and sell our salon products, memberships, and services in person, over the phone, and online.
• Schedule and book clients using our scheduling system
• Time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Check-in and check-out clients with a positive attitude.
• Handle phone calls and text messages efficiently.
• Manage payments and ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Maintain a tidy salon environment by folding towels and updating stock.
• Stay informed about the salon's product line, lookbook, and brand to answer client questions.
• Contribute to overall salon success by ensuring a positive client experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Good computer skills.
• Pleasant demeanor and well kept appearance.
• Ability to handle payments.
• Passion for the salon and brand.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of salon operations and different hair types and textures.
• Sales experience.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced salon environment.
• Regular use of computer systems.
• Interaction with clients and salon staff.
• On site (FT & PT)
• Dress code is ‘well dressed, clean look’:
• Monday to Thursday: Black - Business casual (black jeans are good)
• Friday to Sunday: Black -Casual: ‘Jeans with a nice black top’

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.55-$20.94 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 19 per week

Day range:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
