Are you up to date?
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience processing weekly hourly and salaried payroll for multiple pay groups.
- PCP Certification or completion of post-secondary program in payroll, will be considered an asset, enhancing your ability to excel in this role.
- Experience with Payworks and other payroll systems will be considered an asset.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines by planning, prioritizing, and organizing your work effectively.
- Strong understanding of various payroll legislation across Canada, including overtime rules, statutory calculations, Quebec regulations etc.
- Proven track record dealing with confidential & sensitive information, and able to exercise discretion.

Partners With: Operations at all levels, Human Resources
Primary Direct Reports: None
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify weekly hourly and salaried payroll for Canadian staff.
- Responsible for updating, maintaining, and ensuring accuracy of employees electronic records.
- Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing e-mails, along with payroll notes.
- Processing of new hires & terminations including submission of all ROE forms within required timelines.
- Process journal entries for the weekly payrolls.
- Subject matter expert knowledge on current payroll regulations, standards, & best practices
- Handle payroll month end accruals and reconciliations.
- Prepare team bonuses, and subcontractor invoicing where necessary.
- Oversee yearly T4/T4A processing, EHT, and WSIB annual returns.
- Remit bi-weekly RRSP contributions
- Collaborate with clinic managers and regional relationship directors directly for any questions.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on payroll and benefit matters.
