Hours: 15-20hours/week (M-F)
Compensation: $28 to $32/hour depending on experience

Our Team
The Accounting & Administration team is responsible for record keeping and financial transactions within the company. This includes: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits, finance, inventory, human resources, and logistics. This department works closely with each of the other departments to ensure customers are satisfied and our supply-chain is transparent and efficient.
Job Overview
This position is for a permanent part time position.
The primary deliverables of the position are:
- Managing the full cycle Payroll process using Payworks system for 25-30 employees
- Managing health and other benefits programs
- Responding to and troubleshooting employee queries regarding Payroll and benefits.
- Reporting, accruals, account reconciliations and other month end tasks
- Review and update Payroll and human resources policies and procedures as necessary
Desired Skills and Abilities
The ideal candidate would have the following skills, abilities and experience:
- Familiarity with payroll, human resources, accounting, bookkeeping and related disciplines
- Attention for detail on documentation and data entry
- Professional, friendly communication with staff and other stakeholders
- Understanding of financial transaction processes including EFT, cheques and cash handling
- Identification of improvements and efficiencies for any of our Accounting and Administration processes
- Lots of opportunity for added responsibility and complexity if interested.
