Summary:
The Packaging and Processing technician will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for Processing and Packaging a wide range of Cannabis products within our Good Production Practices (GPP) facility. The position will aid in all daily activities within the manufacturing department, including the processing of dried flower into a range of outputs, packaging those products via hand Packaging and semi-automated processes, and shipping receiving duties where required. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail along with a positive work ethic and an ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment. A demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, whilst being a key player within a team environment is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Hand packing cannabis, setting up materials and equipment, operating equipment and troubleshooting abnormalities.
- Trimming dried flower using both sheers and machines.
- Milling product / utilizing pre-roll machines.
- Assist in cleaning all equipment and surrounding areas as per operating procedures.
- Packaging cannabis products into various types of containers, utilizing machinery where appropriate.
- Maintain strict inventory control over starting materials, intermediates and finished product.
- Perform quality inspections and document results as necessary according to Master Batch Production Records.
- Maintain workstation and equipment in an organized manner, ensuring cleanliness at all times.
- Measure, weigh and count products and materials in an accurate manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a GMP environment with cannabis, preferred.
- Manufacturing/packaging experience.

- Manual dexterity in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain flexible to changing tasks and environments as required.
- Able to stand for long periods of time as well as lift, bend, and other repetitive motions. Must be able to lift 25+ pounds
