The Product Manager, GMP Lipid will report to the Product Management Leader for Precision NanoSystems (PNI).
This position is part of the genomic medicine business located in Vancouver and will be hybrid. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you’ll do
The Product Manager’s primary responsibility is to drive the commercial success of GMP lipid that enable the development and commercial supply of nanomedicines. This role will lead the development of a complete product offering, focusing specifically on enabling the complete lipid nanoparticle (LNP) workflow from existing and newly developed products.
This role will provide multi-functional product leadership and strategic direction. This role is responsible for ownership of the products from product launch to organization readiness and product/service delivery; and will work collaboratively with the commercial teams, supply chain, Quality, and R&D to drive the short and long-term revenue and profitability of the lipid business. This role will report to the Product Management Leader, PNI.
- Drive product roadmap strategies with key stakeholders for the lipid business, in particular around GMP manufacturing.
- Represent the voice of customers guiding cross-functional product development teams ensure the team can deliver the product solutions that meet or exceed customer’s expectations. Work closely with Marketing to define go-to-market strategy for global product launch activities including positioning, value proposition, sales training, collateral and demand generation strategies.
- Define market requirements and synthesize customer input by conducting VOC and market research to understand key market trends, use cases, customer requirements, user and buyer personas, and competitive activities across geographies and market segments.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with commercial team members including account managers and modality experts.
- Work closely with R&D, Quality, Marketing, and other relevant stakeholders to define product requirements for new product development and improvement on existing products.
Who you are
- Must show depth and/or breadth of expertise in GMP manufacturing of lipids or similar products, in particular around Quality and Regulatory aspects for GMP products.
- Domain expert with a Master’s or PhD with additional 3+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management, product development, commercialization, or related field, or a Bachelor’s with additional 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in Product Management/Marketing, including market trends analysis, product roadmap development, NPD process planning & execution and product life-cycle management.
- Preferred: Experience of interpreting internal/external business challenges and recommended best practices to improve products, processes or services. Demonstrable experience in implementing process improvement projects including implementation of output.
- Preferred: Demonstrated analytical skills, business acumen, learning agility, network leadership and stretched experience as well as passion for continuous improvement.

The salary range for this role is 88,600-125,000 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
