Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the production team, including supervisors, technicians, and assembly workers.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement measures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth integration of new products into the production line.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet customer demand and avoid overstock.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure workplace safety by promoting and enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among production staff.
- Other duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in production management within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience producing chain and chain attachments.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
- Experience with WSBC Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Leadership and people management skills.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational abilities.
Annual Salary: $100,000 to $120,000
