As Antidote’s full-time Production Manager you play a critical role in our organization. You are responsible for hands-on leadership of up to 10 direct reports responsible for all aspects of the facility and production. You have expertise in building out and overseeing all activities within a manufacturing facility, to ensure GPP quality, compliant performance while meeting or exceeding business objectives in a cost-effective manner!

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and approve operational SOPs, including security and site access.
- Manage production workflows from the receipt of cannabis material to shipment, in compliance with regulations and SOPs.
- Secure and manage supply agreements, overseeing all aspects like grading, pricing, compliance, and payments.
- Create and adapt production schedules to meet sales forecasts and labor planning.
- Maintain accurate cannabis inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of packaging materials and supplies.
- Oversee equipment procurement, commissioning, and maintenance, supporting facility upkeep to comply with cannabis regulations.
- Lead the production team, providing training, guidance, and motivation.
- Conduct weekly reports on labor, production, inventory, and KPIs.
- Administer the Health and Safety Committee and manage communications with Worksafe BC.
- Collaborate with Product Managers on product format, packaging, and label design.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Life Sciences, or at least 5 years of relevant experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience on a manufacturing floor.
- Proven success in regulated, process-driven industries, with a preference for backgrounds in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food industries.
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to continuous and quality improvements, knowledge of secondary packaging systems, and experience in multi-product strategy management.
