Production Assistant / Videographer
Stingray, Lloydminster has a very rare opening in the Television Production Department for our stations in Lloydminster. Lloydminster is a bustling, multi-cultural city on the border of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Located between Saskatoon and Edmonton, it boasts a beautiful country side and plenty of amenities. This is an exciting opportunity to produce locally relevant content and assist in a modern production control room environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Help to produce all aspects of our daily newscasts.
- Post stories / newscasts / programs to social media (including YouTube).
- Trim, edit, and assemble together panels, interviews, and stories from the week into weekly compilation program packages.
- Assist in the generation and assembly of graphical packages / templates for our local programming.
- Shoot, edit, and/or write one or more stories per week, time permitting.
- Have a degree/Diploma in television broadcasting, along with a valid driver’s license.
- Be experienced with Inception News
- Have Knowledge of Adobe or Final Cut editing systems
- Have prior experience filming news / sports / documentary / style programming
- Meet tight deadlines
- Be a conscientious, dependable and detail-oriented team player.
- Have excellent people skills, professional attitude & appearance.
