Master Flo ValveInc. is currently seeking a full-time permanent Production Assistantto work in Edmonton, AB.

Work Conditions:
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Option for overtime.
- Work is primarily performed indoors.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a mechanically inclined job. For example: construction, manufacturing, assembly, Skilled Labourer, or automotive mechanic. Comprehensive in-house training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Experience in sandblasting and/or industrial painting would be an asset but we will provide training.
- Hoisting and rigging training an asset but we will provide training.
- Grade 12 education preferred.
- WHMIS training provided.
- Forklift training an asset, but we will provide in-house training.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Solid work ethic and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all functions related to the preparation of product for sandblasting.
- Perform all functions related to the sandblasting of product prior to painting.
- Perform final preparation of product after painting.
- Assist with production assembly/testing as required.
Duties Include:
- Maintain traceability of prepared product through production processing.
- Ensure product quality is maintained through the production process.
- Preserve product after painting for shipment to the customer.
- Actively supports and complies with corporate programs, standards and policies, including the Health and Safety, Environmental, and quality programs.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the paint department and perform all maintenance required on equipment.
- Perform other duties as required
