Job Overview:
The Production Specialist is responsible for the day to day operations of cannabis production. This includes the manufacturing and packaging of dried cannabis, pre-rolls, and various edible products. Production Specialist's are responsible for daily manufacturing and packaging of goods that are in-line with good production practices, ensuring the quality of all products manufactured by West Blvd are up to standard.
Responsibilities:
- Sanitate production equipment and work areas to maintain GPP practices
- Package and fabricate cannabis products according to specifications
- Monitor production processes to identify any issues or defects
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of production data and inventory levels
Skills:
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Experience in food processing, kitchen or a similar manufacturing environment
- Great attention to detail
- Cannabis experience is preferred but not required
