Responsibilities:
- Facilitate emotional wellness, life skill, work skill, and computer literacy programs in First Nations Communities across Canada
- Work towards workshop objectives and ensure participants get the most out of the program
- Create a comfortable environment in which learning is encouraged and enhanced.
- Research, develop, and present training materials.
- Keep the program on schedule without sacrificing the overall quality of the program.
- Work with other facilitators
- Report to Managing Directors and Supervisory team.
- Dedicate time to learning workshop materials
Qualifications
- MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL FROM 1-3 WEEKS AT A TIME
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to think critically
- Must be highly adaptable
- Must have a valid drivers licence and clean driving record
- Must be able to provide a criminal record check
- Experience and/or a high level of comfort with public speaking
- A reliable laptop with an active MS Office 365 subscription
- Experience using MS Word and PowerPoint (basic Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be highly dependable and reliable
- Educational or facilitation background or experience will be given priority.
- Must be drug and alcohol free as we work with very vulnerable populations.
- Must have or be willing to enroll in Indigenous Awareness Training
Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract
Salary: $1,875.00-$2,000.00 per week
