Our Ideal Candidate
Allnorth is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Terrace Team. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for assisting our project management staff in project delivery, contract administration and management, providing consistent document control, maintaining project controls, client engagement, monthly invoicing, proposal support, and other related duties and directed by the Project Managers. The project Coordinator will also have the opportunity to manage small single discipline projects undertaken by Allnorth and with supervision of a Project Manager.
A Day in the Life
- Assist with the development and submission of proposals and fee estimates
- Assist with the development of the project plan, schedule, list of deliverables
- Be involved in project safety including preparation of pre-work safety documentation and checks on compliance
- Coordinate the reparation of engineering designs, construction services, and related documents for various civil, structural, and multidisciplinary projects within the industrial, municipal, and infrastructure sectors
- Be involved in meetings with clients, team members, and contractors
- Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, comprised of engineers, designers, project administrators, field services, and others, to assist with the development of engineering design, construction services, and related documents
- Assist with budget and schedule tracking to ensure the project is delivered to, or exceeding, client expectations
- Assist with the development of change management documentation
- Preparation of project documentation such as labor, equipment, material (LEM) daily reports, status reports, and weekly and monthly summaries
- Document control of all project documentation and maintenance of the project folder
- Completion of monthly invoice including equipment and material reconciliation and compliance with contract requirements
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Minimum of a technical diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator, administrator, or technical role on single discipline projects
- Ability to work individually; a self-starter who is able to recognize and complete tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (interpersonal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality
- strong time and task management skills
- Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
- Previous experience in an engineering consulting environment considered an asset but not required
- Registered, or eligible to register, as a Certified Engineering Technologist is an asset
- CAPM, PMP or equivalent certification or experience is an asset

- A competitive salary between $60,000.00 and $85,000.00 per year depending on skills and experience
