Based out of the organization’s Burnaby office, the Real EstateProject Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks in support of ongoing Real Estate projects. What’s In It For You
Competitive hourly pay equivalent to annual salary in the $65-80K range + 4% pay in lieu of vacation. You will also receive $1000 every 3 months in lieu of benefits.
What You’ll Do
- Manage contract reviews and execution process on behalf of the Real Estate Team
- Responsible for submission of Purchase Order requests
- Support all tenant improvement projects including coordinating meetings, taking minutes and consolidating monthly reports
- Manage, control and coordinate project schedules and implementation
- Organize and run procurement projects for equipment and services
- Manage and maintain project documentation
- Prepare project status reports
- Assist with project budgeting including preparing and reviewing invoices and pay applications
- Assist with project administration deliverables
- Other project coordination and administration duties
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of Project Coordinator experience with a focus on delivering Real Estate projects
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, Business, Urban Land or other related field (or equivalent experience)
- Budgeting and financial reporting experience needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-oriented approach
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask to meet deadlines
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite
- LEED accreditation and PMP certification are assets
- Prior exposure to Real Estate leasing transactions, architectural or interior design processes, contracts and procurement, and the ability to read and comprehend design and construction drawings is an asset
