Responsibilities:
- Purchase Order Management:
- Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure that purchase orders are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and address any issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Develop and maintain supplier scorecard.
- Price Negotiation:
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost-effective procurement.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in procurement is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
