Quality Technician Perth, On

Job Description/Specifics:

Technician will be responsible for:

• Non-conformances daily review including product resolution plan
• Completing calibration and basic equipment maintenance activities of quality equipment on time
• Quality Documentation maintenance
• COA System including manual generation of COAs
• Providing operational support to continuous improvement and compliance through production line
• oversight and Lean Process Audit program
• Supporting internal and external audits as required
• Driving optimization of the Quality Management System
• Other duties as assigned

The Quality Technician position is required to support our Clients Quality Policy in a Perth, ON., manufacturing facility, and will be expected to work closely with all departments of the organization, including engineers, supply chain, production, maintenance, R&D, etc. Familiarity with quality assurance procedures will be considered an asset.

• Familiarity with working in a regulated environment (ie ISO, GMP)

• Basic Qualifications:

Education Level:

• High School Diploma
• Years of experience: Minimum 2 years in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Proficient in MS Office, experience with statistical software packages (i.e. Minitab)
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education Level: College Diploma for Technician, University Degree in Science, Engineering or related degree
• Experience with ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001-2015 expectations;
• Preferred candidate will have experience in quality assurance.
• SAP experience is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
