- Under the direction of the Manager, Total Rewards, Talent, Volunteers and Spiritual Care, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the full cycle of recruitment including but not limited to: the identification of selection criteria, development of job postings, applicant screening, interviewing, participation in career and job fairs, liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. vendors and niche posting boards), creating/maintaining/mining resume/interview questions database, proactively conducting research on best practices, extending job offers, data entry into the HRIS, position management, answering varied inquiries related to the employment life cycle, and facilitation of the orientation/on-boarding program.
- The Recruitment Coordinator will proactively examine and lead the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of new/revised best HR practices and procedures. He/she will analyze and monitor industry trends/benchmarks and develop leading edge recruitment strategies to attract high caliber candidates.
- When required, the Recruitment Coordinator will provide cross-functional and general administrative/front desk support duties when required/directed.

- Post Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources or
- Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources from a community college and a minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources or
- In lieu of formal education, 5 years experience in Human Resources (2 of which are in Health care)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the relevant provisions of a Collective Agreement, Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code and Labour Relations Act
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- High level of comfort with information technology/information systems
- Superior understanding of Human Resources principles and techniques preferably in recruiting
- Demonstrating excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively, manage a full work-load and meet deadlines in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
- Proven willingness to learn and acquire new information and skills
- CHRP / CHRL
