Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions

• Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care

• Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician

• Conduct disease screening

• Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions

• Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment

• Provide nursing care

• Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff

• Perform administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

• Good standing with Nursing College

• Copy of educational and job specific certificates

• Current CPR/First Aid

• Up to date immunization records

• Able to pass a criminal background check and vulnerable sector check
