Remote Call Center Agents

Appleone will be hiring for REMOTE Customer Service Representatives for our Government client in the Ottawa area for multiple projects from January to June 2024. To be a successful applicant for these projects, you MUST live a 1-hour radius from Ottawa, Ontario.
As we will be beginning the hiring process for these Government Customer Service Representatives at the beginning of January, all candidates who meet the specific requirements will be contacted.
$24 per hour - Unilingual
$27 per hour - Bilingual
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
1. MUST be either Bilingual (French/English) OR Unilingual (English speaking)
2. MUST be able to work between the hours of 8am-8pm
3. MUST have a clear criminal record and security clearance
4. MUST live a 1-hour radius from Ottawa
5. MUST have reliable internet connection
6. MUST have 2+ years of Call Center experience

Job details:

• Record detailed notes for each phone call in the Customer’s profile for future review
• Review and reconcile relocation files, ensuring compliance with the Relocation Directive
• Review Customer’s submitted expense claims, while providing guidance as to what is required for future claims submissions
• Effectively resolve complex relocation problems within the constraints of the Relocation Directive
• Contact appropriate individuals for urgent and emergency requests to ensure requests are handled in a timely manner
• Identify areas of opportunity and utilize your skill and knowledge to suggest improvements
• Effectively manage your time while working in a fast-paced environment
• Various administrative tasks including record keeping and data entry

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a Call Center
• Bilingual (French/English) positions available as well as fully English positions
• Professional, self-starter with the ability to assume additional responsibilities and work flexible hours as required
• Previous experience in a customer support role through a contact center is an asset
• Capable of using different methods of communication simultaneously, i.e. email, telephone, video call, and chat
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Superior customer service skills and orientation
• Collaborative style needed
• Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints, without direct supervision
