Major Responsibilities:
· Assist in new software developments by testing new software and documenting results, reporting to engineering staff.
· Perform mechanical and electrical system validation according to test plans.
· Compile and document data for review by the engineering team.
· Procure and organize materials for testing purposes.
· Perform plasma cutting of samples on various robotic CNC plasma cutting machines
· Support the creation and maintenance of documentation.
· Drive innovation and provide ideas for continuous improvement and implementation of product.
· To continually contribute to the profitability of the company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
· To fully abide and actively support Lincoln Electric’s Environmental Health & Safety policies, practices and procedures with respect to protecting the environment, the conservation of nature resources and the Health & Safety of all employees.
· To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Engineering Manager in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum Education, Experience and Training Requirements:
- Post Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of MS Office is required.
- Good electro-mechanical skills.
- Ability to work hands-on, using power tools and hand tools.
- Previous robotic or CNC experience and training is an asset but not required.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
