We are seeking a candidate to educate and sell potential clients membership in a network of companies dedicated to quality, trust, and exceptional service. We seek the same qualities in our representatives.
The Account Manager will be responsible to prospect for leads of varying interest levels, educate potential clients on the value of our service, and facilitate their onboarding and retention.
HIT THE GROUND RUNNING
Familiarity with CRM would be required as candidate will be tasked to mine and qualify a large database of 15,000+ leads. There is a vast amount of opportunity for the right person to inherit.
TRAVEL/HOURS
This position has the expectation of 40hrs of work on a weekly basis. Start and end-time are somewhat flexible, but within reason. We take pride in fostering work-life-balance suited to self-driven salespeople, who can back up their commitment with proven results.
Some short travel/trips may be required throughout Canada as the candidate attends promotional events. Occassional, but very infrequent, after hours/weekend work will be required (3-4 times per year) for major events.
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the main point of contact
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful delivery
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Utilize CRM tools to mine and qualify leads, track client interactions, and forecast sales
- Proven experience in account management or a similar role
- Strong negotiation and business development skills
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to analyze market data and identify trends
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in sales is highly desirable
