We are currently seeking a Sales Analystto work out of our office in Guelph, Ontario. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Our fluid conveyance offering ranges from end user hose replacements right through to full hydraulic conveyance kitting for some of North America’s largest OEMs. We also offer full hydraulic system servicing, both on site and in our shop. Our engineering department can help with the smallest of requests right up to designing and building large power units. Our drive to sell and service the best brands in the world has established our relationship with Hetronic Radio Remotes, by being Hetronic Canada, our clients can now lean on the UMI Group for support in radio remotes and electrical controls.
The Sales Analystwill be responsible for facilitating data-driven decision-making in our sales department. They will be responsible for preparing reports and monitoring KPIs pertaining to revenues, selling expenses, and customer interaction. The analyst will possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve the quality of relevant sales data in the company’s ERP and CRM software.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to identify trends and monitor KPIs.
- Analyze the effectiveness of sales strategies and recommend areas of improvement.
- Report on customer interactions with the company’s sales team.
- Monitor selling expenses and provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Work with the Sales and Finance teams to provide supporting information as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A focused degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or another related field is preferred.
- Two (2) years work experience in sales analysis or data analytics would be considered an asset.
- Ability to balance tasks and coordinate across departments.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Experience with CRM software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work individually or in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft excel advanced analytics, and visualization tools like Power BI
- Experience with SAP Business One, HubSpot, and/or Salesforce would be considered an asset.
