Sales/Brokerage Network/Life Insurance/Hybrid/Toronto Area
We are looking for a Sales Director, Life Insurance! Joining one of Canada’s top-ranked insurance companies you will promote iA Life Insurance products and offerings to Independent Financial Advisors through the Brokerage Network. Yo will build effective business relationships with insurance advisors, executive and administration staff at MGA’s and their Advisor Offices.
Sales Development Activities:
- Develop a Marketing Plan in your region for the delivery of sales growth by expanding advisor awareness to IA’s insurance product offering and industry leading ease of doing business processes
- Educating advisors through group and individual training on iA life insurance products, sales concepts and illustration software
- Solicit new business and establish contact with top producing, past producing, and future Advisors
- Regular cadence of contact with MGA executive teams, maintaining brand relevance and awareness.
- Creation and execution of presentations, both for face to face and virtual
- Responding to inquiries through telephone, email, written correspondence, or in person, in a timely and professional manner
- Attendance at planned conferences, road shows, presentations, and organized events for supporters during evening and weekend hours, as required
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the insurance industry/ brokerage environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma
- CLU, CFP, CHS or other industry related designations would be an asset
- Competency in insurance product knowledge, tools and concepts
- Exceptional ability to lead, teach, coach, and motivate
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of people. Able to influence and motivate our business partners
- Superior organization and planning skills with a strong ability to meet tight deadlines. Able to delegate effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
