Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Senior Product Manager’s mission is to participate in the design and implementation of a comprehensive marketing strategy for a particular product group. You monitor and evaluate product development programs, competitive information, market trends, customer needs and product performance in order to recommend strategic changes to products or services. You manage larger, more strategic portfolios of products and services and coordinate the design of advertising, pricing and distribution policies for the product. You have a comprehensive understanding of market trends, and you act as an expert in the implementation of best marketing practices to maximize sales and profitability.

Contribute to the strategy and vision of the product/priority markets portfolio
Recommendation to increase the profitability of the product and service portfolio.
Perform lifecycle management of products and services
Oversee product / innovation launch plans for development of team (if applicable)
Responsible
Establish a pricing and profitability model
Creation of marketing calendar overviews, CRM data gathering and analysis, customer / trade marketing and competitive analysis
Develop marketing tools, presentations, training to marketing and sales teams
Oversee campaign planning, target setting, next best action (NBA), real-time action
Facilitate multi-channel plan and approach, digital media management, marketing
Oversee customer scoring/business rules, voice of customer, research, market knowledge, category segmentation strategy, consumer behaviour modeling, trend analysis
Manage marketing content (creation, tagging, aggregation, sales tools, market analysis)
Recommend the design of new products and services with customers following product analysis and key stakeholders in accordance with customer needs and competitive and financial objectives
Manage event based marketing, consumer interaction strategy, multi touch-point consumer experience design
Design products/services with customers and key stakeholders based on customer needs, competition and financial objectives (tactical innovation)
Provide coaching and/or manage an innovation team and/or multidisciplinary team
Experiences and strengths
Bachelor’s degree in administration.
5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
Customer-centric approach.
Ability to translate strategic concepts into tactics
Exceptional rigour and attention to detail.
Ability to manage a number of accounts and projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and priorities.
Ability to proactively address issues and problems by proposing solutions.
Ability to adapt quickly and a high level of agility in order to respond to the various stakeholders’ needs.
Collaborative spirit needed to work closely with all team members.
Ability to effectively use various technological tools.
Proficiency in French and English.
