Service Writer

• Service writing experience
• Strong administrative skills

• Proficiency in bookkeeping skills
• Must be able to stand a reference check for credibility
• Physically fit able to lift 50lbs

• Are most comfortable working in a very busy environment

YOU WILL

• Define and implement procedures necessary for correct and efficient processing of all service related bills
• To ensure proper use of time clock and making sure tech is clocked in on all work orders
• Oversee return of warranty parts
• Verify that all billing is invoiced and that merchandise is received without overage, shortage, or damage
• Challenge manufacturer warranty disclaimers
• Question doubtful billings
• Coordinate shop service scheduling – using the Blackpurl Schedule System
• Document all customer repair needs on a service repair order
• Notify and coordinate customer pickups
• Recommend any major changes in procedures that will improve efficiency
• Make sure all billings are collected as per company policy
• Compute customer billings and warranty billings
• Handle routine telephone communications
• Complete all paperwork daily
• Check Bossweb daily to be aware of any recalls.
