Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Schedule appointments for automotive repairs and maintenance
- Communicate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Provide estimates and explain repair options to customers
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
-Sourcing new/used parts
-Ordering/receiving parts
Duties may also include customer assistance with light housekeeping, re-torques, air pressure and assisting back end staff with light duties.
Skills:
-Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with mechanics and other staff members
- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service center is preferred
