Qualification
- Post-secondary education with focus on Social Media, Digital Marketing, Communications, or Advertising
- A minimum of 2 years of professional level Social Media experience
- Experience working with various Social Media platforms for business (i.e. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager to create, execute and analyze paid social campaigns.
- Graphic design skills to create promotional content for Social Media using Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
- A keen eye for photography and videography with well-honed editing skills
- Ability to analyze Social Media and marketing campaigns to improve reach and engagement efforts.
- Experience in writing engaging and effective content copy, with proven ability to adopt brand voice and tone.
- Experience with Social Media management platform such as Brandwatch an excellent asset.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite an excellent asset (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Lightroom, etc.)
- Administration of a website and/or blog would be considered a tremendous asset.
- Team Player with a positive, energetic attitude and creative spirit
- Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills required.
- Must have a critical eye with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with strong organizational skills and decision-making ability.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Work samples will be required from interview candidates.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and monitoring all activity on the White Oaks branded Social Media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.). A key component to monitoring all these platforms would be to respond to all forms of Social Media conversations in a timely, informative, and appropriate manner using correct and consistent brand voice that makes the customer feel valued and acknowledged. Additionally, the successful candidate will work to develop and execute brand and social content creation and strategies in support of seasonal and strategic department priorities and initiatives. Further responsibilities will include email marketing, graphic design tasks, photography/videography, blog management, attending promotional events to represent White in a public relations capacity, managing promotional setups and displays around property, and any other duties as assigned.
