As the Social Media and Content Coordinator, you will be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and Social Media trends. You have excellent communication skills and are able to express our company’s views creatively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and moderate all Social Media content
• Create engaging Social Media content in the forms of photography and video
• Coordinate and maintain relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on Social Media
• Write compelling copy for Social Media related content 
• Collaborate with marketing team to create a Social Media calendar  
• Execute livestreams from moderating to broadcasting across various platforms
• Attend various store events to represent our Social Media platforms
• Assist in the development and execution of the Social Media strategy 
• Manage the in-store digital content signage calendar in conjunction with the marketing calendar 
• Must be willing to learn the various categories (woodworking, gardening, kitchen and home) 
• Coordinator various written articles from outside contributors 
• Motivated to help shape a positive, motivated and forward-thinking culture
• Must be able to travel if required

Knowledge and Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role in a retail environment is a must
• Recent SEO Certification
• Passion for Social Media 
• Direct experience using Social Media management tools (Hootsuite)
• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and digital media formats
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, TikTok, YouTube and other Social Medias
• Understanding of Social Media KPIs 
• Experience with all Microsoft office products
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent digital media editing tools an asset
• Being bilingual is an asset
