RPI Consulting Group is currently seeking a Staffing and Recruitment Assistant to perform various administrative duties for our staffing agency. In this role, you would be expected to assist with identifying new business opportunities, write job postings for various roles which we are currently recruiting for, enter resumes into our job seeker database, maintain and update confidential files and records, reach out to jobseekers via Linkedin on behalf of our recruitment team, conduct screening interviews and reference checks, along with various other administrative duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and inter-personal skills, computer skills and can type at least 50 wpm.
We are located in Toronto, ON, but this is a work from home position. Our hours of operation are 8:30am - 5:00pm EST.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contact various healthcare related businesses and institutions to register our company on their vendor lists
  • Assist with creating and posting job descriptions to major online job boards such as Indeed and Linden
  • Entering job seeker resumes into our resume database and ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Assist with the creation of content and posts for our various social media pages that will attract talent
  • Maintain and update various tracking spreadsheets
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Conduct screening interviews and reference checks on job seekers
  • Update and maintain confidential files and records
  • Reach out to jobseekers on Linkedin on behalf of our recruitment team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Excellent oral and written English skills are essential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • 1-2 years prior experience working in data entry
