About this opportunity:

We are looking for an Industrial Engineering intern to join our Toronto office for a 16-month internship beginning in May 2024. The successful candidates should be in an Industrial Engineering/Business Administration program.

Preferred Skills:

• Industrial Engineering background preferred
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Time management skills
• Presentation skills
• Analytical skills
• Good understanding of Google Suites
• Ability to articulate customer needs and wants and execute them
• Previous experience in project management or process mapping is an asset
• Industrial Engineering background preferred

Activities: 

• Provide IT customer solutions support in developing materials for sales and project execution
• Documenting business requirements
• Facilitating process mapping
• Project management
• Communicating and coordinating with employees from all domestic and global sites

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.  
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Education: Currently enrolled in a University internship program and have completed their 3rd year of studies. This role is ideal for students who enrolled in an Industrial Engineering or Business Administration program.
