Position Purpose & Summary
We are currently looking to fill the position of Technology Integration Center Manager to manage daily operations within our Victoria, BC warehouse. Microserve operates a fully functioning warehouse, which includes general warehouse and logistical operations as well as complete imaging and secure data disposal services. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy throughout all areas of the warehouse; lead and develop the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our internal and external clients.
The Technology Integration Center Manager will be “boots on the ground” and will work closely alongside all warehouse employees. Key Areas of Accountability
Provide hands on, operational leadership for all aspects of the Technology Integration Center, including warehousing logistics, inventory management, technology configuration and secure disposal services
Maintain up to date processes and documentation
Develop and deliver training for all team members
Manage inventory levels while balancing space constraints
Develop, monitor and report on delivery of services in relation to meaningful KPIs
Maintain high degree of engagement for team members by providing feedback, coaching and disciplining employees
Responsible for full cycle recruitment for all employees; including onboarding and conducting annual performance reviews
Work closely with Sales, Purchasing and Service teams to assure quality service levels to both internal and external customers
Confirm inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with ERP.
Maintain physical cleanliness and organization of Technology Integration Center
Ensure equipment is in good working order
Ensure physical and data security policies are enforced and are followed
Responsible for loss prevention via identifying, mitigating and escalating potential risks to all physical, data and electronic assets
Manage workplace safety within the Technology Integration Center
Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous service improvement opportunities
Manage the Asset Recovery (AR) teams responsibilities within the warehouse
Ensure client specific AR processes are efficient, documented and kept up to date
Maintain Industry Standards and best practices for all AR processes
Leverage IT Service Management best practices in delivery of technology configuration and asset recovery services
Understand and execute in accordance with client-specific configuration, disposal and information security processes and policies
Ensure correct asset information is maintained in appropriate Microserve and client systems
Participate in ongoing process and service improvement programs and initiatives
Maintain Industry Standards and best practices for all processes
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in management of warehousing and logistics
Experience and/or knowledge of IT Service Management
Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures/standards
Excellent problem-solving skills
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Able to work with all levels of staff
Self-motivated and with a positive attitude
Adaptable and flexible to change in a large organization
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience and/or training in the implementation and operation of relevant quality management systems and continuous improvement methods is an asset
Relevant post-secondary education or ongoing professional development preferred
Knowledge of data and information security legislation and best practices
Compensation and Benefits:
In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is $60,000 - $75,000 / year.
