Veterinary Assistant - Part Time - Eagle Hill Animal Hospital

Eagle Hill Animal Hospital is a multi doctor veterinary practice that has been serving clients and their pets in the Mission area for many years. Eagle Hill was a result of a merge in 2016 of 2 long standing hospitals. About The Role:

Our ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or a RVT, on various aspects of animal care such as dosage/purpose of medications, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. In collaboration with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to an environment in which animals feel safe and secure. Having great communication and the ability to take direction well is an asset. This position available is for weekend coverage and will be required to work Saturdays and Sundays
Expected Wage Range: $17.43 - $23.00
