Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

Dundas Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionistto complete our team.

Our Veterinary Assistant/Receptionists are responsible for:

• Client care
• Professional and respectful communication
• Receiving, filling and processing orders
• General cleanliness of the clinic
• Daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping duties
• Assist veterinary technicians with patient care
• Working alone and within a team environment

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to be self-directed and also to work in a team environment
• Accuracy in billing and cash handling
• Ability to work weekdays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

• DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience:
