We want our Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 30-40 minutes of each child's week. You will be working with Soccer Shots of Markham / Richmond Hill, an independently owned and operated Soccer Shots franchise based in Ontario, Canada.
We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and reliable assistant to provide customer service, administrative, and social media marketing support for our team while working remotely. You will perform various customer service, administrative and social media tasks, including answering customer and team member emails, scheduling coaches, completing administrative projects, and conducting data entry. For this role, professional customer service skills, strong written and spoken English skills, and a reliable Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools like Zoom and WhatsApp, and social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Ultimately, you should be able to handle customer service and administrative projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service as first point of contact by email.
- Respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Administrative projects including but not limited to, preparing spreadsheets and creating process improvement documents.
- Social media marketing projects, including creating and administering posts on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Organize and manage coaches’ schedules.
- Perform data entry and data organization.
- Create customer proposals and presentations, as assigned.
- Address employees’ administrative queries.
- Assist with the coach hiring process and other HR tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an assistant working remotely or relevant role.
- Familiarity with current technologies, like CRM software and MS 365.
- Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g. MS Office, Google)
- Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar)
- Experience with Social Media marketing is an asset.
- Excellent phone, email and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Solid analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work during eastern time zone hours (EST), and flexible to work when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; additional qualifications as an Administrator and/or Customer Service agent are a plus.
- This is a part-time role to start, 20-25 hours per week, with the possibility of growing into a full-time role for the right candidate.
- Monthly pay TBD based on experience and skills.
