Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks, customer support, and possess strong organizational skills. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clerical support, managing files, data entry, payroll, accounts payable and receivable and assisting with various administrative duties. Experience working with Simply accounting is preferred.
Duties:
- Organizing daily paper work
- Manage sensitive information in an appropriate and confidential manner
- Maintain and organize files, both physical and electronic
- Assist with data entry and document preparation
- Assist with accounts payable , accounts receivable and invoicing using Simpy accounting software
- Support the team with various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite , Simpy accounting and Seafare systems (will train for seafare systems)
- Experience working in an office is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible with everchanging priorities
